Embodied Myoreflex Practice (EMP)
A somatic movement module as part of the EMP education
Somatic Movement Module
This module focuses on somatic movement, its didactics, and the practice of touch. Through these prisms, we anchor concepts from myoreflex therapy and salutogenesis.
Â
Embodied Myoreflex Practice
EMP is a practical 600-hour continuing education program for dance and movement practitioners, educators, artists, therapists, and social workers who want to learn effective embodied practice. The neuro-myofascial Myoreflex practice enables participants to expand their movement potential and work with limitations, pain, trauma, and unfavorable movement patterns.
Â
Participants develop an independent professional profile that combines therapeutic, educational, artistic, and social contexts. Bodies can be experienced as feeling, thinking, and acting systems—in a living relationship with oneself, others, and the environment. This creates an eco-somatic space of lived embodiment.
The program is led by internationally experienced teachers who combine process-oriented learning, reflective communication, and many years of practice.
